This article aims to investigate the historical process of agroextractivism in the Jari Valley region, with a main focus on the Rio Cajari Extractive Reserve, with a focus on the creation of the Cajari Extractive Reserve. This is a theoretical, bibliographical research, in which a bibliographic survey was used in academic Google, CAPES journals and in official documents. The instrument used was a survey of bibliographies in academic platforms and laws that deal with the subject. As a bibliography selection criterion, we used materials published in magazines with ISSN, theses, dissertations and laws. The results point to three moments: the fight for the territory, the management of this space and the way of life of the local populations. Therefore, the results found answer what were the trajectory and its mode of organization and its characteristics.
