Abstract

This article aims to analyze the Bolsa Família Program (BFP) in the Amazon region with the indigenous peoples of Acre. We try to ask whether the actions of this policy are not been guided in a kind of a precarious and welfare social inclusion. In this perspective we analyze the consequences of atypical movements of these peoples to the urban centers for seeking to withdraw their benefit. The analysis is based on data provides by a Master’s thesis defended in 2016. The methodology is based on historical and dialectical methods. As methodological procedures we used literature review, documental analysis, observation and semi-structured interviews. The use of qualitative research was prioritized. We concluded that the effects of the BFP policy tend to erode the territoriality of the indigenous peoples of Acre by fostering their precarious inclusion, either in their own territories or in urban peripheries.
