Abstract

In this article, the meaning of decent work is discussed within the context of Labor Law and the normative procedure of International Labor Organization - ILO. The analysis includes aspects related to ILO’s development, historical context, and the evaluation of its organizational normative capacity, with emphasis on documents that have caused the appearing of the concept decent work within the field of International Labor Law. Besides, the article analyzes the elements present in the formation of the concept. Key words: International Labor Organization. International Regulations. Decent Work.
