A REIFICAÇÃO DO FEMININO NO SISTEMA CARCERÁRIO BRASILEIRO: UMA ANÁLISE DO (NÃO) RECONHECIMENTO DAS MÃES ENCARCERADAS NA REGIÃO SUL DO BRASIL

Abstract

The research intends to analyze the conditions of female incarceration in the southern region of the country, especially incarcerated mothers. This study employs the Hegelian tripartite dialectical method, which is neither deductive nor inductive. In this proposal, the thesis is represented by the abstract/normative guarantee of dignity conferred on prisoners, to be opposed by the material non-recognition of this (antithesis), for the purpose of obtaining a result (synthesis), which will confirm or refute the chosen hypothesis. The research will use as methodological technical procedures, documental, bibliographical and field research, based on the reading of laws, reports, works and articles, as well as, for qualitative purposes, interviews with a portion of incarcerated mothers in prisons in the southern region of the country, in order to enable the confrontation of the theme and its opposition to the chosen theoretical framework. The analysis of this incarceration will be made from the collection of information that will be carried out through interviews directed at the prisoners. With such data, an understanding of the theme will be made, from the theoretical path of Axel Honneth, who proposes the category reification. Thus, it will be possible to verify whether incarcerated mothers in the southern region of the country are recognized in their rights and dignity by the State, Family and Society, or the opposite, they contribute to their reification.
